The Gig Bass - aka: tenor bass - has a range of F2-E3. This instrument was designed with the working musician and the school-on-a-budget in mind. For the working musician, this instrument is GREAT! It has a low tenor bass sound, but consists of only three drums that are cut in half to approximately 17.5" long.
The tenor bass pans are an excellent bass instrument for a small steel drum ensemble and are also extremely beneficial as a bass reinforcement instrument in a larger steel drum band which may already have one or more full size six bass instruments.
