Boxfish Music Publishing Inc. resulted from the vision of CJ Menge, founder and director of the Inside Out Steelband in Austin, Texas. Since 1996 CJ has helped nurture a thriving steel pan scene in Austin, and he wanted to showcase the talents of composers and artists who put the Austin steel band community on the map. Look for new composers in the future, and, as Boxfish grows, look for additions to the catalog in many other genres of music, including music for wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, and marching percussion.
