Andy Akiho
Eldica Annie Miller is a native of Trinidad and Tobago, the home of the steel drum pan. She currently resides in Oakland, California where she has built an illustrious career as an art teacher. She has won several awards for costume design and her innovative approach in using art to teach math and science in Oakland schools. Her artwork has been exhibited in San Francisco Bay Area and Caribbean island communities.
Boss
Boxfish Music Publishing Inc. resulted from the vision of CJ Menge, founder and director of the Inside Out Steelband in Austin, Texas. Since 1996 CJ has helped nurture a thriving steel pan scene in Austin, and he wanted to showcase the talents of composers and artists who put the Austin steel band community on the map. Look for new composers in the future, and, as Boxfish grows, look for additions to the catalog in many other genres of music, including music for wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, and marching percussion.
Elizabeth Caesar
Federico Gay is the son of well known steel pan maker & tuner, Lloyd Gay. Federico began the steel pan making & tuning quite a number of years ago, having learnt from his father no doubt. Federico operates a small single pan band out of his front yard, Highlighters steel band. He is the Captain, Manager and also the resident tuner and steel pan maker.
